Core Functionality and Application
The Havells 110 kW Enviro GTi 110 KT NG inverter is engineered to be a cornerstone component in large ground-mounted solar farms and the largest industrial rooftop installations. Its function is to convert the massive volume of high-voltage DC electricity generated by the solar arrays into stable, three-phase AC power. This AC power is then efficiently injected into the utility grid, making it an essential device for commercial, industrial, and utility projects focused on high power output and revenue generation through energy sales or large-scale consumption offset.
Performance and Yield Optimization
Focused on maximizing return on investment, this inverter offers a peak conversion efficiency of up to 98.7%. Its most significant performance advantage is the inclusion of Ten independent MPPTs. This extremely high MPPT count is critical for optimizing power harvest across vast and potentially complex arrays, ensuring that local shading, soiling, or module mismatch affects only a small fraction of the system, thus boosting the overall energy yield (KWh). The inverter design supports a high system voltage of 1100 V DC and is capable of handling up to 1.5 times DC oversizing (DC Overloading) on each MPPT, allowing designers to install more solar panels relative to the inverter’s AC rating.
Safety, Protection, and Reliability
Built to operate reliably outdoors, the inverter is housed in an IP65-rated enclosure, providing excellent resistance against dust and moisture. Safety features are comprehensive and include an in-built DC switch for secure isolation of the solar input. It also features integrated Type II Surge Protection Devices (SPD) on both the AC and DC input sides to defend the sensitive electronics against dangerous voltage spikes caused by lightning or other electrical transients. The unit is compliant with major global and Indian safety and quality standards (IEC and BIS certified).
Monitoring and Connectivity
The 110 kW model offers advanced intelligent system management capabilities. It includes String Level Monitoring, which tracks the performance of individual strings, allowing operators to quickly locate and diagnose faults for faster resolution. Remote management is provided via a standard Wi-Fi / GPRS Data Logger (USB Type), enabling lifetime free access to a remote monitoring platform (web portal and mobile app) for real-time data, performance analysis, and fault alarms. The robust communication suite allows for remote maintenance actions like online software upgrades and supports the optional Anti-Reverse Power Control (ARPC) for mandatory zero-export applications.
