The Havells 80 kW Enviro GTi 80 KT NG is a powerful component designed to serve the most demanding energy requirements of large commercial entities, industrial complexes, and utility-scale solar projects. As a grid-tie inverter, its function is to efficiently convert the high-voltage direct current (DC) power from the solar arrays into stable, three-phase alternating current (AC) power that is synchronized and fed directly into the utility grid. This is a crucial element for projects aiming for substantial energy savings through high self-consumption or net-metering.

Performance and Yield Optimization

This inverter is one of Havells’ high-efficiency models, reaching a peak efficiency of up to 98.7%. A standout technical feature is the incorporation of Six independent MPPTs. This high number of MPPTs is vital for large, complex installations, as it ensures that energy generation is independently optimized across six different sections of the solar array. This design significantly minimizes the yield losses that typically occur due to partial shading, soiling, or uneven aging of panels across a large rooftop. The design also allows for high DC oversizing with a 1.5 times DC overloading capacity per MPPT, further increasing potential energy output.

Safety, Monitoring, and Design

The unit is built for durability and safety, housed in an IP65-rated enclosure that provides comprehensive protection against environmental factors, allowing for reliable outdoor installation. Integrated safety features include a built-in DC switch for safe system isolation and inbuilt Type II Surge Protection Devices (SPD) on both the AC and DC input sides to guard against electrical transients.

For intelligent system management, the inverter offers String Level Monitoring, allowing operators to pinpoint and address performance issues at the most granular level. Communication and data management are handled via a Wi-Fi / GPRS Data Logger (USB Type), providing lifetime free remote monitoring through a dedicated web portal and mobile application. It supports optional features like Anti-Reverse Power Control (ARPC) for compliance with zero-export regulations. The product is certified under relevant BIS and IEC standards and carries a standard 10-year product warranty.
