The Havells 60 kW Enviro GTi 60 KT is a robust, grid-tie inverter designed to handle the substantial electricity needs of large commercial and industrial establishments, such as large factories, logistics hubs, and big institutional campuses. It efficiently converts the high-voltage DC power generated by the solar panels into high-quality, three-phase AC power, which is then synchronized and fed into the utility grid. This capability is essential for large-scale solar projects operating under net-metering regulations to maximize energy cost savings.
Performance and Yield Optimization
Engineered for peak performance, this inverter boasts a maximum efficiency of up to 98.6%. To cater to varying site conditions and panel layouts, it is equipped with Three independent MPPTs. Each MPPT is capable of managing a separate section of the solar array, ensuring optimal power harvesting even when one section is partially shaded or has a different orientation or panel count. The inverter is designed for design flexibility, allowing for 1.5 times DC overloading per MPPT, which helps maximize the system’s energy output. It also has a maximum DC input voltage of up to 1000 V, providing flexibility in string design.
Safety, Protection, and Durability
The inverter is a transformerless model, which contributes to its high efficiency and lighter weight. It features multiple integrated safety measures, including an in-built DC switch for safe system isolation and Type II Surge Protection Devices (SPD) on both the AC and DC terminals to protect the electronics from transient overvoltages. The unit is constructed with a durable IP65-rated enclosure, making it fully protected against dust ingress and water jets, allowing for reliable operation in outdoor environments. It is certified as per BIS and IEC standards.
Monitoring and Connectivity
For user convenience and sophisticated system management, the inverter includes a 101.6 mm (4-inch) LCD display for direct on-site monitoring of generation data and fault indicators. For remote management, it features a Wi-Fi or GPRS data logger and an RS485 port, offering lifetime free remote monitoring via a dedicated web portal and mobile application. The unit also includes an SD card slot for extensive local data storage, supporting up to 25 years of operation data. An optional feature is the Anti-Reverse Power Controller (ARPC) for applications requiring zero-export functionality. The product is backed by a 10-year standard warranty.
